A number of Omaha Public Power District customers in eastern Nebraska remained without power early Thursday following windy conditions the day before.
Wednesday in Omaha, about 4,400 customers lost power in the late afternoon when a tree fell on wires at 77th Street and Western Avenue and a transformer pole was toppled at 204th and Wirt Streets.
