A $1 million loan from Republican Sid Dinsdale to his Senate campaign has doubled his campaign's cash and made him the No. 2 fundraiser in the race.
Dinsdale, the chairman of Pinnacle Bank, lent nearly all that money to his campaign last month. As of April 23, according to federal campaign finance reports, his loans exceeded the $939,000 he had raised from donors.
