Sex in public park means Nebraska newlyweds will spend honeymoon in jail

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. — A couple who decided their newlywed status meant they could enjoy sex in a local park will spend the next 28 days apart — in jail.

Scotts Bluff County Judge James Worden sentenced Saint Robert Ramirez Jr., 23, of Lincoln, and Miaya Smith, also known as Miaya Davis-Smith and Miaya Ramirez, to 30 days in jail each on charges of indecent exposure, a Class II misdemeanor. They were given credit for two days served and will have to pay court costs.
