Beveridge Middle School Principal David Lavender holds his school up as one example of how time has passed by aging buildings in the Omaha district.
Beveridge is one of 37 OPS schools highlighted in a recent facility study as in need of repairs and renovations. A consultant estimated the cost for those schools at $444 million. The cost grows to $570 million when all traditional OPS schools are accounted for.
