LINCOLN — A Nebraska lawmaker wants to seal the arrest records of people who are not convicted of the crimes they are charged with.
State Sen. Ken Haar of Malcolm said Thursday he introduced Legislative Bill 1007 on behalf of a constituent who was acquitted by a jury but whose arrest and court records remain open to the public.
