Police identify 21-year-old shot in ankle near 30th, W Streets
Police cruisers line X Street just west of 30th Street after a drive-by shooting that occurred near 30th and U Streets. The victim was walking from the convenience store at 30th and U Streets to a residence on X Street when he was shot in the ankle.

Omaha police have identified a 21-year-old man who was injured in a driveby shooting near 30th and W Streets.
Thomas Ross Jr. was walking along 30th Street about 9:30 p.m. Friday when he was shot in the ankle, said Officer James Shade, a police spokesman.
