Law enforcement agencies across Nebraska collected more than 7,400 lbs. of unwanted prescription drugs at last weekend's Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.
In Douglas County alone, 1,944 lbs. was collected at five sites, including 649 lbs. at Westroads and 500 lbs. at the Walgreens at 84th and Harrison Streets. Workers at the four sites in Sarpy County collected 1,193 lbs.
