Plates for Iowa governor's vehicle added to files

IOWA CITY (AP) — Gov. Terry Branstad's vehicle and others in his security detail will no longer be a mystery to law enforcement officials who need to check them, an Iowa Department of Public Safety spokesman said Monday.

The license plates for Branstad's Chevy Tahoe and 13 others in the DPS fleet have been added to computerized files after a review concluded they didn't need to remain confidential, Sgt. Scott Bright said.
