Two months after the original deadline, a pedestrian bridge near the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln is set to open Nov. 1.
Plans had called for the $7.9 million bridge, which will allow event attendees to cross over railroad tracks, to open Sept. 1. But construction on the 611-foot-long bridge was halted April 19 when two supporting girders slipped.
