Panelists at UNL will discuss gun violence

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln will host a panel discussion, “Point Blank: A Conversation about Gun Violence” at 7p.m. Tuesday in the Nebraska Union Auditorium.

Panelists will be Andy Allen, Nebraska Firearms Owners Association lobbyist; Eric Berger, UNL constitutional law professor; State Sen. Mark Christensen; Steve Joel, Lincoln Public Schools superintendent; Mario Scalora, UNL psychology professor and expert in threat assessment; Todd Schmaderer, Omaha police chief; and Susan Swearer, UNL psychology professor and co-director of the Bullying Research Network. The discussion is free and open to the public.
