Opera Omaha will receive a $25,000 grant from the Lincoln Foundation to support its second annual Opera Outdoors event, a free outdoor concert by four professional opera singers in the fall.
It is one of 12 Omaha organizations that will receive a total of $158,500 in grants from the foundation in 2014. The grants are awarded to organizations that strengthen art education opportunities in Omaha and provide access to a broad spectrum of arts to Omaha citizens.
