Omaha teen to play at Carnegie Hall
Brooklynn Venteicher, a junior at Omaha Marion, plans to major in violin performance in college but eventually switch to pre-med.

A junior at Marian High School has been selected from among thousands of young musicians to participate in the highly competitive 2014 High School Performance Series at Carnegie Hall.
Violinist Brooklynn Venteicher will join other high school performers from across North America and select schools internationally to play in a 100-member high school orchestra on Feb. 9. The series also includes band and choir performances.
