Oelwein, Iowa, woman shot by husband home from hospital

OELWEIN — An Oelwein woman found shot several times in her home in October has been released from the hospital.

Authorities said 38-year-old Niki Meador was shot multiple times by her husband, Myron Meador, who then turned the gun on himself. He died Oct. 17, a day after the shootings took place at their Oelwein home.
