LINCOLN — Years-old plans for a $11 million recreational ice rink in Lincoln were slowed again Friday when concerns about financial risk led the University of Nebraska Board of Regents to postpone its vote.
Regents voted 7-1, with regent Tim Clare opposed, to table the ice rink because operating costs would be primarily NU's responsibility.
