LINCOLN — Even a Nebraska supporter of the death penalty said it was “appalling” what occurred during the botched execution of an Oklahoma murderer on Tuesday.
“It's inexcusable, regardless if you are pro-death penalty or against it,” State Sen. Jim Scheer of Norfolk said.
