KEARNEY — The Nebraska Veterans Home Board is in firm support of the Central Nebraska Veterans Home being moved to Kearney, the board’s chairman said.
The group of 14 veterans representing seven state and federal veterans organizations met Aug. 8 in Scottsbluff for its quarterly meeting. The group voted to support a resolution introduced by Nebraska Veterans of Foreign Wars to support the procedures and process that resulted in Kearney as the home’s new location.
