GORDON, Neb. — A 71-year-old man has been charged with two felonies and misdemeanor animal neglect after horses were reported to be starving near his home, just east of Gordon.
Deputy Sheridan County Attorney Jamian Simmons said Arthur A. Darringer, 71, was charged Tuesday morning.
