Much of the eastern half of the country is likely to see rain on Halloween, with the weather possibly turning severe in some areas to the south, according to AccuWeather forecasts.

Unlike states farther east, Nebraska and western Iowa are forecast to be the lucky, early recipients of a storm system moving across the U.S. this week.
The system will be out of here in time for clearer skies and relatively warm weather on Halloween. Omaha is forecast to have temperatures around 50 degrees Thursday evening.
