Lincoln suffered a brutal summer, as homeowners can attest — in some cases, foundations separated from the ground, and mandatory water restrictions were put in place. Omahans may not realize it, but far less rain fell in Lincoln than Omaha.
In July and August, Lincoln received .63 inches of rain, while Omaha received 2.4 inches.
