LINCOLN — The City of Lincoln’s power utility said its proposed methane power plant could be generating electricity by this fall.
Lincoln Electric System’s Dan Dixon said workers are installing three large engines that will generate 4 megawatts of power. One megawatt can provide enough electricity for about 750 homes for a year.
