Lincoln East wins 13th straight state speech championship in Class A

Lincoln East won the Class A Nebraska state speech contest Thursday at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. It was the 13th straight state championship for East.
Omaha Skutt was the Class B winner and David City the Class C-1 winner. Classes C-2, D-1 and D-2 will compete Friday at UNK.
