Jury finds Omaha man guilty in 2012 murder

An Omaha man was convicted Thursday of first-degree murder for the February 2012 shooting death of Anthony J. Carter.
After an eight-day trial, jurors deliberated a little more than five hours before finding Thylun “Jay” Hill guilty. It is the second time that Hill, 33, has been convicted in connection with a shooting death.
