Nancy Sebring, whose hiring as superintendent of the Omaha Public Schools was dashed by a sexually explicit email scandal, can proceed with her lawsuit against the Des Moines school district, an Iowa judge ruled Tuesday.
Polk County District Court Judge Glenn Pille denied a motion filed by the Des Moines school district in October to dismiss Sebring's lawsuit against the district and several school officials. Pille also found that Sebring's emails were confidential and should never have been released by the school district in the first place.
