Joslyn plans to open new exhibition space

Joslyn Art Museum has announced plans for the Karen and Doug Riley Contemporary Artists Project Gallery, an exhibition space dedicated to contemporary art on the west end of the Scott Pavilion.

Construction on the Riley CAP Gallery will begin this month and is expected to be completed by February. The gallery area, which is currently storage space, will exceed 500 square feet, have 15-foot ceilings and will include technology capable of showcasing artists who work in video installations and other electronic media.
