'It was big-time scary': While Omaha woman slept, stray bullet tore through wall
A stray bullet left this hole in the front of a dresser in Joann Guerrero's home at 5352 N. 27th St. in Omaha. In 1964, when Guerrero was 5, she was hit in the arm by a stray bullet while at her grandparents' home. That bullet, a .22-caliber, also went through a wall. A newspaper report from the time says that it may have been fired from a passing car.
