University of Nebraska at Omaha researchers found a rare coin in the lost biblical city of Bethsaida during an excavation last week, UNO officials said.
Researchers found a Judea Capta coin, which was minted by Roman Emperor Domitian during his reign of A.D. 81 to 96, in honor of the conquest of Judea and the destruction of Jerusalem in A.D. 70 by his father, Vespasian, and brother, Titus.
