The City of Omaha has handed out $80,000 to neighborhood projects ranging from community gardens to citizen patrols.
Mayor Jim Suttle on Wednesday announced this year’s recipients of the Mayor’s Neighborhood Grants Program at a press conference in the Elkhorn area. A total of 22 projects were selected to receive between $224 and $5,000.
