Heineman concerned about number of 'Christmas tree' bills this session

LINCOLN — Gov. Dave Heineman expressed worries Monday that state lawmakers are more focused on increasing spending than adopting tax relief proposals.
Heineman, during a press conference Monday morning, said there's still plenty of time left in the 2014 legislative session to reverse the emphasis, but that it appears the focus has been on increased spending so far.
