LINCOLN — One in four people who participated in a statewide Community Assessment Survey last year said they were worse off financially than the year before.
That was among the findings in a report distributed Tuesday by Community Action of Nebraska, the umbrella group for nine nonprofit Community Action Agencies that work with low-income clients to reduce poverty across the state.
