Volunteers needed: The Omaha Earned Income Tax Credit Coalition is recruiting volunteers for the 2014 tax season. Volunteers are needed to staff the five Volunteer Income Tax Assistance sites and various mobile locations. Volunteers don't have to have prior tax preparation experience. A targeted 24-hour time commitment per month is required for the period of Jan. 27 to April 15. Hourlong volunteer orientation sessions will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. in the coalition's central office at Family Housing South Omaha, 3605 Q St. For information, call 402-250-9781 or visit www.fhasinc.org.
