Golf ball-size hail pelted Bellevue on Sunday as thunderstorms moved southeasterly through the Omaha area. There was no immediate word of any significant damage.
At Hampton Inn near the intersection of Nebraska Highway 370 and 36th Street in Bellevue, the hail made a lot of noise but didn't wreak much havoc.
