Former State Sen. Jennie Robak's death revives talk of exam for elderly drivers

LINCOLN — A state lawmaker said a fatal accident involving an 88-year-old driver that claimed the life of former State Sen. Jennie Robak points to the need for changes in licensing older motorists.
But State Sen. John Harms of Scottsbluff said an interim study on the issue leads him to conclude that the issue is broader than just elderly drivers, and more study is needed.
