OAKLAND, Iowa – The health of southwest Iowa’s forests reflects a shift from cattle to crop farming, an official with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources said Thursday.
Iowa DNR Forestry Bureau Chief Paul Tauke.was in Oakland to discuss the department’s plans through 2020.
