Those strong winds that caused interstate closings and scattered power outages on Tuesday will be back with a vengeance Thursday.
The National Weather Service is advising people across most of Nebraska and Iowa to drive with care on Thursday and to tie down loose objects. In many areas a high wind warning will likely be issued, said Rick Chermok, meteorologist with the weather service.
