Fish and Wildlife proposes designating 1,110 acres of habitat for endangered tiger beetle

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service proposed Monday to designate 1,110 acres of critical habitat for the endangered Salt Creek tiger beetle in Lancaster and Saunders Counties.
Proposed habitat sites include saline wetlands and streams associated with Little Salt, Rock and Oak Creeks and segments of Haines Branch Creek.
