Ex-child care provider gets jail time, probation for death of boy choked by car seat harness

The tears of two mothers riveted a packed Douglas County courtroom Tuesday.
Elizabeth Harding was sentenced to four months in jail, five years probation and 250 hours of community service after pleading no contest to causing the death of 1-year-old Chase Hunter, who was choked by a harness while sleeping in a car seat at Harding's home daycare.
