LINCOLN — A state judicial ethics panel has dismissed a complaint filed against Douglas County District Judge Peter Bataillon by abortion rights supporters.
In a letter, the Nebraska Commission on Judicial Qualifications said it could not act against a judge for making legal determinations unless there was “clear and convincing evidence of fraud, corrupt motive or bad faith.”
