Earth gets its day in the sun at Elmwood Park

Earth Day festivities at Elmwood Park served as a great excuse for people of all ages and dogs of all breeds to get outside Saturday and enjoy the warm spring weather.
Organizers said 8,000 to 10,000 people were expected. Dozens of vendors offered demonstrations and items for sale. The fun also included food trucks, live music, speakers and children's activities.
