DONIPHAN, Neb. — An economic development program in Doniphan will be funded at least through 2029.
Voters overwhelmingly approved the measure in a mail-in election this week. With about 40 percent turnout, Doniphan residents voted 160 to 28 to keep the program running and 152 to 37 to extend the 1 percent sales tax to fund it.
