The Omaha City Council has given its OK to a west Omaha development plan that prompted protest from neighbors.
Tuesday, the council voted 6-1 to approve plans for a 27-acre project on the Blumkin family property near 122nd Street and West Dodge Road. The development, located near the Candlewood neighborhood, will include retail space, a bank, an office building and an apartment complex.
