Omaha Public Schools officials say the follow-up services provided in a contract with two Maryland-based consulting companies are a critical accountability piece.
The district awarded Cross & Joftus and UPD Consulting a $653,210 contract last August to develop a strategic plan, a process that included first creating a needs assessment that cataloged OPS's strengths and weaknesses as well as areas in need of improvement.
