College of St. Mary students, staff and faculty teamed up to collect 5,387 nonperishable food items for Catholic Charities' food pantry this holiday season. Teams vied to see which could bring in the most items. The nursing faculty and financial services department won with 2,030 items. Once the winner was decided, students, staff and faculty met in the Hixson-Lied Commons to build a 90th Birthday Cake Canstruction, to honor the college's 90 years. Canstruction has become a College of St. Mary tradition since 2004.
