City: Omaha's major roads clear of snow; focus now on residential streets

Omaha commuter and major secondary routes — those around churches and schools — are all cleared of snow, city officials said today.
In addition, all residential streets have been plowed at least once, said Austin Rowser, assistant street maintenance engineer for the Omaha Public Works Department. He said the department is now making a second pass and focusing on problem areas.
