Omaha City Council members will soon consider a proposal to freeze their wage rates — and that of the mayor — from 2015 through 2018.
Council members said an ordinance to set the salaries would first appear on the agenda for Tuesday's council meeting and likely will be set for a vote in April, a few weeks before the city's May 14 general election.
