Apply today: Omaha Public Schools will hold Early Childhood application day today from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Teacher Administrative Center, 3215 Cuming St., in the board room located on the second floor. To apply, parents will need to bring their child and the following items: a copy of the child’s legal birth certificate, current immunization records, proof of address and yearly income verification if they are applying for the Head Start program.

College day: Students at St. Cecilia Cathedral School took part in College Day last week. Each grade level participated in activities to start the students thinking about their future careers and the education needed to reach those goals. Some of the festivities included dressing in college apparel, discussing their path to college and creating a college class collage.
