Summer day camps: Summer will be here before you know it, and Omaha Roncalli will be hosting a variety of summer camps, from pottery to basketball, for kids in grades 3-8. Visit and look for summer camps under the quick links tab.

Skills championships: The SkillsUSA Nebraska Championships will test the skills of 1,200 high school and college students in hands-on, against-the-clock career and technical competitions. Competitions include electronics, computer-aided drafting, precision machining, medical assisting, cosmetology, video production and culinary arts. The event, which is free and open to the public, is Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the CenturyLink Center.
