COUNCIL BLUFFS — Two proposed projects — a new bridge over Indian Creek and a larger parking lot for the busy 100 block of West Broadway — are on the Council Bluffs City Council agenda Monday evening.

The 10th Street Bridge over Indian Creek just north of the West Broadway viaduct is eligible for state money under a points system that studies structurally deficient or functionally obsolete bridges. It ranked high enough among Iowa bridges to receive funding that will pay most of the cost of replacing it, said City Engineer Matt Cox.
