Bookends: Nebraska author to read from works at UNO

Terese Svoboda, author of 14 books of poetry and prose, will read from her works at the Wednesday Words: Braided River Series presentation at Kaneko in the Kaneko-UNO Library, 1111 Jones St.

Svoboda, a Guggenheim Award recipient for fiction, is a native of Ogallala, Neb., but currently lives in New York City. Among her novels, poetry collections and memoirs are “Bohemian Girl,” “Black Glasses Like Clark Kent” and “Dogs Are Not Cats.
