COUNCIL BLUFFS — The city will save more than $245,000 over the next six years after action by the City Council Monday.
The council approved a bid by Piper Jaffray of the Kansas City area that will lend the city $2.7 million at an interest rate of 0.7764 percent, which will pay off a current debt of $2.7million that has a 4 percent interest rate.
