LINCOLN — Nebraskans addicted to gambling have to make a phone call to Chicago rather than meet with counselors in their home state.
A bill that easily won first-round approval Monday in the Nebraska Legislature would move such treatment back to the state by taking it away from the Department of Health and Human Services.
